Songlines can be described as a map of the land. While following our path, we sing for the land, the river, the trees, the animals,… In doing so we give thanks for all that we receive from Mother Earth and celebrate all the beautiful experiences and relationships we have in our lives.
The “Singing Village” is a community music project that promotes singing in our families and communities. Touring from town to town, we invite locals to sing along and have a great time together. With this CD, we invite you to begin/continue singing with friends and loved ones.
This CD is a compilation of the most favourite songs of my choirs. They have asked me for a long time to record these song on CD, so here it is! Enjoying every moment creating the beautiful arrangements, we are truly proud of the result.

Keruna is een a-capella zangensemble, hier en daar ondersteund door de sfeervolle klanken van authentieke akoestische instrumenten zoals udu, tampura, native flute, trom,... . Zes vrouwen die met hart en ziel het leven bezingen.
Tijdens concerten voor een breed publiek, huiskamerconcerten of als rituele begeleiding bij huwelijk of afscheid brengen zij traditionele liederen uit alle hoeken van de wereld. De puurheid die hiervan uitgaat, maakt hun stijl uniek. Keruna draagt klanken uit die je raken in je ziel. Door hun verscheidenheid aan stemmen creëren de Kerunavrouwen een apart klankenpalet en een unieke sound.
Het rijke repertoire omvat traditionele liederen van over de hele wereld die steeds een grote verbondenheid met de cycli van het leven en de natuur uitdrukken. Geboorte, leven, liefde en dood, zijn dan ook geliefde thema’s. Door de vernieuwende arrangementen, en de afwisselende sferen weten de zangeressen van Keruna steeds te verrassen.
